Photos: OLPC XO Laptop
On today's episode of Your Day, we talked about the OLPC XO laptop. I got the laptop during last year's Give One Get One program and have been impressed by the design. I can't imagine that this laptop is for everyone, which is good, because they are actually hard to come by. I hope that enough ended up in people's hands so that there is some great software developed for it. OLPC Photos at Flickr
By the way, we'll be live on Wednesday at noon.

A sneak preview of the OLPC XO
Alas, the OLPC XO has not arrived yet, even though my pal Ken got his yesterday. I did come across this great overview of the device by David Pogue, however and thought you might enjoy watching it with me...

Will there be any OLPC Bogos available by the end of the day?

Today is opening day of the Give One Get One program for the One Laptop Per Child project.
Heores star, Hiro Nakamura, (okay, it's really Masi Oka) describes the way the program can help the children in underdeveloped areas in a YouTube video.
According to OLPC News, there are only 25,000 units available through this North America only promotion and they are expected to sell out fast.
