Artisphere 200704 sidewalk photo 9
I got some nice shots of some very cool sidewalk art at this year's Artisphere. The weather was really cooperative. It didn't wash this sidewalk art away in the middle of the festival for example.

I wished to let everyone know that the artists who completed these fine street paintings at the Artisphere 2007 were Tracy Lee Stum and Rod Tryon. Tracy is from Ventura, CA and Rod is from the New York area.

Tracy re-created the art work 'Mignon', Angel with a Mandolin by Wilhelm von Schadow in 1828 while Rod completed a re-creation of a detail of the 'Creation of Adam' from the Sistine Chapel Ceiling by Michelangelo.

Both Tracy and Rod are well known for their 3-D street paintings, some with the popular anamorphic effect, allowing interactivity between viewers and the artwork. Tracy and Rod create their fine street paintings throughout the USA and abroad on a regular basis.
