What color eyes will my baby have?


A handy little calculator at The Tech museum of innovation lets you answer a few questions about your parents' and siblings' eye colors and compute the probabilities of various colors for the eyes of your own children (real or potential.)

It must have been a temporary outage as I just connected to it again this morning. By the way, we have recently found out that we have reason to consult the calc again!

Congratulations! I'm pregnant with my first. I have been still trying to do this test and have had some friends do it to see if it's just me and none of us can connect to the server. Very frustrating!

I calculator will not work for me, I have green eyes and both my parents have blue. It says that is not possible, but it is. I have twins with brown eyes, I have gren and my husband has blue??????

I have blonde hair and blue/green eyes, my parents both light hair and blue eyes. My husband has brown hair and brown eyes both his parents brown hair brown eyes. Our Baby has light blue eyes and blonde hair. how do you explain this??

The reason this calculator isnt full proof is because it doesnt take into account the possibility that the sibling with blue or green eyes was never born. For example my wife and her brother have brown eyes. Who is to say that if there was three siblings the other one wouldnt have blue eyes if the parents were heterozygous(AAbb

It doesn't tke into account hazel eyes which both me and my fiance have.
